Persuasion, motivation and relationship by Dan Pink

May 11, 2015

Dan Pink relates attunement (a caring relationship) and resiliency to motivation and effective salesmanship in the video below. A researcher and author on effective business skills, Pink’s perspective helps us see that core counseling skills are not just aspects of psychology and neuroscience, but are universal among “relational” disciplines. Pink shares his research and conclusions in this four minute RSA Animate presentation. The ICCM gives counselors a unified model to understand and apply principles such as these.
